Which printing?
Kennedy was mistaken on the printings/cover price of this one. As the image shows, there was a $0.50 cover price issue (1st print). The 2nd through 4th printings are believed to be indistingishable with a cover price of $0.75. With the 5th printing the cover price went to $1.00.
Harold Hedd was Holmes’ most well-known character who originally appeared on the pages of Vancouver’s Georgia Straight newspaper. Holmes’ work also appeared in White Lunch Comix, Fog City Comix, Hitler’s Cocaine, and others. His story lines are often compared to that of The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers by Gilbert Shelton.
