This comix was once used as an incentive to subscribe to High Times magazine. From one of High Times (High Times magazine, January 1994) print ads:

This special edition comic book, produced by Starhead Comix, illustrates the now-famous Hemp for Victory propaganda film produced by the US government in 1942 to encourage farmers to grow marijuana. Many believe this is the ultimate propaganda film in favor of relegalization. Hemp for Victory has also become the rallying cry for a generation, since the film exposes the hypocrisy of Reefer Madness by trumpeting the many uses of the hemp plant.
