Horrible Misunderstandings # 1, 1st print - Signed
Co-produced by Artie Romero and Roger May. 1st printing. 100 copy print run. $0.25 cover price. Kennedy guide # 1005.
As Kennedy states, this 8-page mini (approximately 4 1/4" x 7") was drawn, copied, cut, folded and stapled in one day at the 1980 San Diego Comic-Con in a small print run of just 100 copies.
It is a true 1st print which can be differentiated by the "less solid" xerox copying throughout and by the rough cut along the top edge. Also, the 2nd printing has the Everyman Comics logo on the front cover... the 1st does not. The 2nd printing states on the back cover, "Thanx To Roger May - Co-Editor"... the 1st does not. The 2nd printing also states "2nd printing" on the inside front cover.
Artists include J. Michael Leonard, Roger May, Artie Romero, Tim Boxell, Roldo, Mary K. Brown, Larry Rippee, Howard Cruse, and Rick Geary.
This is a nice, flat copy with the only defect being a tiny 1/8" tear on the cover and first interior page.
Acquired directly from Artie Romero who signed the front cover.
