Mark Bode may well be Alternative Comics’ first second-generation cartoonist. He got his start in comics at age five, drawing while sitting on the lap of his famous father Vaughn Bode. After Bode senior’s untimely death in 1975, Mark carried on the family tradition. His first professional job came in 1978 when he was 15, coloring his father’s story "Zooks" for Heavy Metal Magazine...
