Escape Magazine was a British comic strip magazine founded and edited by Paul Gravett and Peter Stanbury. Nineteen issues were published between 1983 and 1989. The first seven issues were published in a smaller, digest-size format. Beginning with issue eight, Escape was published in the more traditional 8.5 x 11 magazine size.

Unfortunately, Escape magazine lasted only nineteen issues and is no longer being published.

Issue # 8 of Escape magazine features Krazy Kat, Gary Panter, Lynda Barry, Charles Burns, and many, many others.
