Mineshaft is a small independent art magazine started in 1999 by Everett Rand and Gioia Palmieri. It features underground comix, sketchbook drawings, letters, photos & more. It is published 2 to 3 times a year.
Highly recommended!

Mineshaft # 21: Front cover was designed and hand lettered by Robert Crumb (R. Crumb also contributed five pages of sketchbook drawings to this issue); back cover, "My Angel of Sin" by Christoph Mueller; the life of famous Beat underground poet, Diane Di Prima, drawn and written by Mary Fleener (with guest Harvey Pekar); Poetry by Diane Di Prima; "Pat & Corky" fiction by J.R. Helton; Zippy the Pinhead and how Bill Griffith got his start; other contributors include Joe Coleman, William Crook, Jr., Jay Lynch, Ed Piskor, Andrei Codrescu, Aaron Lange, Frank Stack, and Bruce Simon. Also, the next chapter to the Green Star by editor Everett Rand as well as a pretty good letters section.
