High Times Magazine has been chronicling the counterculture for over thirty years. First published as a quarterly in 1974, High Times is still being published (now a monthly) with its continued emphasis on marijuana use and cultivation and the fight for cannabis legalization.

For the underground comix fan, there is a 1-page Freak Bros. comix by Gilbert Shelton, a one pager by Harry Meadows, a 1-column strip by Ace Backwords, and small blurbs on the new books, Visual Addiction by Robt. Williams and Beyond The Pale by Kim Deitch. The Trans-High Market Quotations page states that in Orange, CA, Orange bud, "tangerine sativa" is the best high going; sweet and sticky; and is selling for $80 to $90 per 1/4 oz.
