High Times Magazine has been chronicling the counterculture for over thirty years. First published as a quarterly in 1974, High Times is still being published (now a monthly) with its continued emphasis on marijuana use and cultivation and the fight for cannabis legalization.
This was issued as High Times’ Grow America issue # 1 and as Best of High Times volume 34. Grow America was to become High Times’ 2nd publication.
High Times magazine was to be the political voice while Grow America magazine was to be less political and concentrate more on the cultivation and photography side of things. The splint into two magazines lasted about a year after which they were merged back together.
